Bronx/Upper Manhattan collected signatures with the Immigrant Justice working group to keep ICE out of the courts.
North Brooklyn kicked off canvassing for universal rent control, part of their branch campaign, on Saturday, April 14th.
Central Brooklyn held their canvassing for universal rent control the same day, part of their new branch.
South Brooklyn blended their branch campaign – Medicare for All – with their political education program, bringing theory to the South Brooklyn Day School on April 8th.
CUNY will meet Thursday, April 19th to discuss the teacher strike wave, and how it might impact CUNY.
Labor will raise funds with all of the labor working groups to support their organizing work on Wednesday, April 18, 8pm at The Sackett Bar, 661 Sackett St. Brooklyn.
Lower Manhattan is gearing up for a their branch campaign – housing – with a talk on housing and planning in the 21st century Lower East Side, plus a presentation on state rent laws.
Queens canvassed Astoria for Medicare for All and the New York Health Act.
